The Vincennes Lincoln Alices downed visiting Evansville Central 58-51 on Saturday night. The Alices led at every stop with a 22-18 first quarter lead. They led 34-30 at the half and jumped out to 47-34 lead at the end of three. Central cut the lead to 52-51 but Lincoln withstood the charge and came away with the 58-51 victory.
Hunter Hopwood led the 3-4 Alices with 27 points, which included 7 three pointers.
Torrance Gillis had 11 points and Isaac Lane added 10. Braydon Robb hauled down 11 rebounds.
Central won the JV game 52-45. Peyton Curry had 14 points and Parker Howder added 8 for the 3-4 JV squad.
The Alices are back in action on Tuesday night at home with Robinson.

The Vincennes Rivet Patriots were up 24-19 at halftime, but fell to Washington at Adam’s Coliseum 45-34. Washington outscored Rivet in the contest 26-10 in the second half and forced 17 second half turnovers in the process. For 3-3 Vincennes Rivet, they were led in scoring by McCaine Claycomb with 11 points. Colton Mouzin and Treyvon Taylor each added 7. The Patriots are back home Thursday against Lawrenceville.

The North Knox Warriors lost a tough one to Edgewood 100-49. The Mustangs jumped out to a 31-3 lead after 1 quarter of play and never looked back. The Warriors were led by Holtman Doades with 14 points while Brayden Thorne chipped in 10. The Warriors are off until December 29th when they travel to take on the Evansville Reitz Panthers.

In Girls basketball action, The Vincennes Lincoln Lady Alices picked up a 67-64 victory over Evansville Memorial. Maycee Lange led Lincoln in scoring with 25 points to go with 11 rebounds. Darrian Carmean had 22 points and 10 assists. Alison Hein added 9 points and 11 rebounds. The JV game went to Evansville Memorial 60-36.Kali Haynes and Chloe Cardinal both had 11 in the losing effort.

In other girls action, North Knox picked up a 64-35 win over Pike Central to improve 10-3 on the year. The Lady Warriors are back in action against North Central Friday.

In 6th grade boys basketball action, North Knox picked up wins over South Knox. In the A game, North Knox won 35-13 over South Knox. The Spartans were led in scoring by Ace Hageman with 6. The B game went to North Knox 34-2.
South Knox had a better affair in 6th Grade Girls Basketball. The Lady Spatrans defeated Barr-Reeve 35-21 in the A game. Caroline Beard led South Knox with 9 in the win. Mia Candler, Ella Bobe, and Grace Carie each added 6 in the win.The B game went to Barr-Reeve 25-15. Mia Candler led the B team with 6.
Rivet Lady Patriots 6th Grade picked up a 20-0 victory over North Daviess. Lorelai Davis led the Lady Patriots with 6 in the win. Rivet 6th Grade is now 4-3. 5th Grade won 36-18 to improve to 5-1 on the season. Lissa Willis led Rivet with 14 points while Mary Herman added 12. Both Rivet 5th and 6th Grade Teams are back in action January 3rd against Mount Carmel.
