A man charged with neglect in the death of a malnourished 9-year-old Indiana boy with cerebral palsy has been sentenced to eight years in prison.
The Terre Haute Tribune Star Reports 58-year-old Hubert Kraemer pleaded guilty to neglect charges in Vigo Superior Court and was sentenced Friday.
The sentence includes four years of probation for Kraemer.
The boy’s primary caregiver was Kraemer’s wife, Robin Kraemer.
She was convicted in 2017 and sentenced to prison.
The Kraemers’ adult son and his girlfriend earlier entered guilty pleas.
