Indiana is one of the least affected states when it comes to the partial government shutdown. That note is from Wallet Hub as it has analysed from least to most how states are affected by the stalemate.
Wallet Hub has Indiana 47th out of 51 states and territories affected. According to the data, Indiana is 43rd in share of federal jobs and federal contract dollars per capita, 48th in real estate as a percentage of GSP, 50th in access to national parks, and 30th in percentage of families that receive SNAP benefits.
Illinois is 41st on the list with Kentucky 17th. The least affected State is Minnesota while the most affected area is Washington DC.
