Alices and Spartans pick up Wins, Warriors and Patriots Fall

The Vincennes Lincoln boys team rolled to a 77-50 win over visiting Mount Vernon at Alice Arena Saturday night. The Alices led at every stop, 23-14 at the first quarter, 40-25 at halftime and 62-34 heading into the final quarter. Isaac Lane and Ethan Bushey led the 8-10 Alices with 21 each. Hunter Hopwood chipped in with 10.
Lincoln won the JV game 65-36. Peyton Curry had 19 points.
The Alices are back in action Thursday night at Washington.

The South Knox Spartans have won 4 straight as they defeated Shoals in Blue Chip Conference Play 52-40. The win ups South Knox’s record to 12-3 on the season while Shoals falls to 11-6. South Knox was led in scoring with 16 out of Nick Johnson. Gage Bobe and Justin Fickling each added 11 while Garrett Holscher added 7. South Knox is back in action Thursday at home with Linton-Stockton

Rivet fell to 9-7 after falling at Evansville Day School 52-43. McCaine Claycomb and Dawson Sparks each had 13 points for Rivet while Colton Mouzin scored 10.

The North Knox Warriors saw their 2 game winning stream come to an end Saturday as the warriors lost to Linton-Stockton 72-30. North Knox with the loss falls to 3-14. The Warriors play again Thursday on the road at Northeast Dubois.
