Vincennes 7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball Teams were in action in the first round of the Evansville Diocese Tournament.
In the 7th Grade game, Rivet lost to the 8th grade of St. Benedict’s 49-27. Reese McEmbree led Rivet with 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Arianna Gerkin added 6 points.
In the 8th grade contest, Rivet cruised passed ECS 39-13. Kenadee Frey led Rivet with 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Cadence Mills added 12 points and 9 boards.
Clark 8th grade baskeball lost in the conference championship action 50-42. Lady Alices were led in scoring with 21 points out of Gracie Kramer. Faith Fleetwood added 12 points.
The Clark Lady Alices 6th grade teams lost to Jasper. The A game went the way of the Wildcats 35-18. Morgan Carter led the Lady Alices with 9. The A team is now 4-4. In the B game, Jasper won 33-7. Aaliyah Kohlhouse led Clark’s B team with 4. The B team is now 1-5.
South Knox 5th grade won their regular season finale at Loogootee 32-27 in the A game. South Knox finishes the regular season with a 6-3 record and a six game winning streak heading into tournament action
Kaiden Grumieaux led South Knox with 14. Blade Field added 8 with Elijah McIntire chipping in 6.
In the B Game, Loogootee defeated South Knox 24-4.
