Lady Alices Get Revenge On Washington

The Vincennes Lincoln Lady Alices held on for a 53-49 victory Friday as they defeated the Washington Lady Hatchets at Alice Arena in Sectional 31 action. The win for the Lady Alices avenges a loss from November 20th at the Hatchet House.

Vincennes Lincoln led at the first quarter break 13-12, at half 26-20, and at the third quarter horn 37-32.

Lincoln was led in scoring with 14 points each out of Maycee Lange and Darrian Carmean. Allison Hein tossed in 12.

Washington was led by Lindsay Moody with 14 points. Kencia Levusseur added 12 while Hadley Faith chipped in 10 in the losing effort.

With the Win, Vincennes Lincoln is now 22-3 and have won 10 in a row. The Lady Alices will face 15-8 Princeton for the sectional title at 7:30 Saturday Evening. Lincoln defeated Princeton 53-43 at home on January 3rd.

Washington with the loss finished their season with a mark of 15-8, losing 4 of their last 6 games to end the year.
