The Vincennes Lincoln Alices suffered a 72-61 loss at the hands of host Boonville. The Alices led 21-17 at the first quarter stop and led by as many as nine in the second period but had to settle for a 32-28 halftime lead. Lincoln led most of the third quarter but Boonville grabbed a 44-41 lead at the end of three. The fourth quarter belonged to Boonville as the pioneers pulled away for the win.

For the 8-12 Alices, Ethan Bushey had 23 points. Isaac Lane tossed in 18 and Brody Ruggles added 14.Boonville also won the JV game 50-48. E. Smith had 18 points.

The Alices are back in action on Friday night at Evansville Memorial.

The Vincennes Rivet Patriots improve to 11-8 on the season with a 45-44 win over Shoals Friday at Ralph Holscher Gym. Colton Mouzin hit a 3 point play with 4.2 seconds left to get Rivet the victory. It also was the first and only lead for Rivet in the game.

Colton Mouzin led Rivet with 18 points in the win. Klay Tichenor lead 11-8 Shoals with 13.

South Knox lost a tough game to Barr-Reeve 46-43 to fall to 13-5 on the season. The win for the Vikings put them in the driver’s seat for another Blue Chip title.

South Knox was led in scoring with Justin Fickling with 12 Points. Zach Welage and Gage Bobe each chipped in 10.

South Knox is off until Tuesday when they take on Rivet.

North Knox slipped to 3-16 on the season after a 63-29 loss to North Daviess. For North Knox, they were led by Holtman Doades with 6.
