The Vincennes Lincoln Alices, the Vincennes Rivet Patriots, and the South Knox Spartans all have Girls Basketball Teams in action in regionals throughout Southern Indiana.
The Lady Alices will take on Gibson Southern at 12:30 this afternoon on WZDM. Both teams head into the contest with a record of 22-3. Lincoln has won 11 straight while Gibson Southern has won 18 in a row. In a matchup earlier this year, Vincennes Lincoln defeated Gibson Southern 69-56 on November 10th at Gibson Southern.

The first game of the 3A Charlestown Regional features Salem and Greensburg. Salem has won 9 in a row and is 22-3 while Greensburg is 20-4 and also has won 9 straight.
South Knox will take on Eastern Pekin in the 2nd game of the 2A Regional at Paoli. South Knox is 16-11 on the season while Eastern Pekin is 20-6. South Knox has won 3 in a row while Eastern Pekin has won 5 straight. These two teams met in the same time slot at Paoli in 2017 and Eastern Pekin won after outscoring South Knox in the 4th quarter.

In the other 2A matchup at Paoli, Evansville Mater Dei takes on South Ripley. Mater Dei is 15-10 while South Ripley is 18-7.
At Class 1A’s Springs Valley Regional, 26-0 Vincennes Rivet will take on 16-8 Lanesville. Tip off is set for 10 AM. This is the first time Lanesville has made the regional in Girls Basketball.

In the other game at the 1A Springs Valley Regional, 17-9 West Washington will take on 18-5 Tecumseh. West Washington has won 4 in a row while Tecumseh has won 3 straight.
Regional Championships will all be played tonight.
