Indiana Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch declared the U-S 41 Industrial Park as a Gold Certified Indiana site. The designation means the park is authorized as a “shovel-ready” site for business development. Crouch spoke at today’s ceremony; other speakers included OCRA deputy director Matt Crouch and Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum. Other Vincennes City, Knox County, and Indiana State dignitaries also attended this afternoon’s ceremony.

The Park is already home to two large factories– including both F-I-A, and Farbest Foods. It also houses other smaller facilities; K-C-D-C officials hope today’s designation will mean more business for the park itself.
