Four teams in each class are getting prepared for their chance today to win a trip to play at Bankers Life Fieldhouse for Boys High School State Titles in Basketball.
In Class 1A, the 20-7 Bloomfield Cardinals will take on 25-2 Barr-Reeve. Former Lincoln head coach Josh Thompson in the game will be coaching against his high school coach, Ron McBride. Tip off is set for 4 PM at the Hatchet House.That game can be heard on 93.3 WQTY and wqtyradio.com On the north side of 1A, 26-2 Fort-Wayne Blackhawk Christian will take on 24-4 Lafayette Central Catholic, also at 4 PM.
In Class 2A, 26-3 Linton will face 26-1 Shenandoah at Seymour. That game tips off at 1 PM and can also be heard on 93.3 WQTY and wqtyradio.com. On the north side of the state, 19-8 Andrean will take on 25-3 Frankton.
In Class 3A, 20-8 Indianapolis Crispus Attucks will face 23-3 Silver Creek. That game will tip at 3 PM. The north 3A game features 19-7 Marion and 23-3 Culver Academies. Game time is set for 6 PM.
In Class 4A, 21-8 Center Grove will face 19-7 Ben Davis. That game is set for 6 PM from the Hatchet House. Up north, 24-3 Penn will face 24-1 Carmel at 3:30 PM.
The winners will all meet at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse next Saturday for State Titles in their respective class.
