The Wabash Valley Correctional Facility and Ivy Tech Community College Terre Haute say five offenders have been certified in the Computerized
Numerical Control course.
The five non-violent offenders earned their National Institute of Metalworking Skills certifications through the Ivy Tech Workplace CNC training program.
The CNC class ran five days a week for a little over six weeks.
In addition, 10 offenders recently graduated from the nationally recognized American Welding Society course.
