Vincennes City Police arrested a Vincennes man following a traffic stop Thursday Morning.
At 5:11 AM, officers halted a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Ronald Ikemire following the discovery of expired tags on the vehicle. A check of Ikemire’s license came back suspended. Officials during the stop suspected Ikemire to be impaired. After further investigation, Ikemire was also charged with operating while intoxicated and operating while intoxicated endangerment. Finally, officers found Ikemire to be in possession of marijuana at the time of his arrest.
Ikemire was taken into custody and booked into the Knox County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
