Cigarette Smoking Falls To Record Low In U.S.

Fewer people are lighting up cigarettes in the U.S.

The CDC says smoking among adults hit an all-time low of 13-point-seven percent in 2018.

That’s a decline of about two-thirds since the agency started putting the numbers together more than 50 years ago.

Still, the CDC notes about 49-million people used tobacco products last year, with cigarettes being the most common.
