Reward Offered for Shooting of Bald Eagle in Lawrence Co.

Indiana Conservation Officers continue to request information regarding the shooting of a bald eagle in Lawrence County on or around December 20th.

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest of a suspect.

The injured eagle was found in the area of the White River near Dixie Highway.

The bird was treated for a gunshot wound but later died from its injury.
